Buttons

I had a trip into Nisantasi today - baby very kindly gave me her eye infection at the weekend - I saw my opthamologist as I was entering the hospital - a rather larger than life character who dispatched me to one of his colleagues since he was leaving. 30 minutes later I got told I had perfect vision with my glasses and an eye infection..... given 2 lots of drops and sent home..... via the haberdashers - my favourite haberdashers in Osmanbey. I really did need 2 zips to fix the twins' school uniform jackets - and I spied these buttons. The small square ones are just 3/8ths of an inch square - cute... I do have a plan......
Oh yes - it was raining again..... shall I start on about rain again??

Did you try to go Mahmutpasa? You can not buy 1 or 2 piece in there but if you would like to buy big quantities, you can find quite cheaper than Osmanbey. What you can find? Fabric, trims, ribbons, everything about handcraft!

No, sadly I've never made it there - it's on my (long) list of things to do! I use these guys as they are very close to the Metro at Osmanbey and it's on the walk to the American Hospital. Plus they can understand my (bad) Turkish and simple drawings of things! One day.....

Nice to hear it and maybe one day we can try together :P

Because of my herniated disk and after the operation at American Hospital, I could not manage to go back UK with my little one! It means I must to stay Turkey for a while.
