Bloggers Quilt Festival

Amy at Park City Girl is having her fabulous quilt festival again - I've decided to show these, they were a challenge I did last year with the FAT group. They are 'Sorrow, joy, love, surprise and fear' top to bottom, each is 5 inches square but still linked with a red thread....

I made them as one piece and then gathered the courage to cut them...
the original posts are here sorrow , joy, love, surprise, fear

How unusual and interesting! Your choice of color for each emotion interests me too. With all the embellishment, I can see why you wouldn't want to cut into it.

Pretty. Love.

That must have taken quite a while to do all the beading, but the results are spectacular!

This is very interesting and beautiful. Those embellishments must of take a while to add by hand. But it really makes the whole project even better for it.

This just took my breath away! I love the colour and symbolism. I really like that you've cut it up, but it's all still joined - just like life, really.
